As a Buyer, you are responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with the organizations need for indirect materials and services, fixed assets and tooling, and select production materials and services.

Buyer Responsibilities:

Evaluate quality, price, reliability, technical support, and availability of goods and services
Manage and negotiate vendor contracts
Oversee invoicing and billing
Locate, evaluate and select vendors
Ensure the Company's procurement rules and regulations

This position is also responsible for the timely planning and scheduling of receipt and inventory control of the products and services as appropriately concluded with the requisitioner.

Buyer Requirements:

23 years experience with purchasing and material control, Bachelor's degree preferred
Understanding of basic Cost Accounting concepts as they pertain the inventory evaluation
Experience locating, evaluating, and expediting vendors
Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
Extremely organized and detail oriented
Selfdirected and able to work in a fastpaced environment
