    Your role at BHSN:


    The operational compliance auditor assists in ensuring that BHSN clinical services documentation is following regularity standards given by the Office of Mental Health (OMH).

    The auditor reviews clinical documentation and reports any concerns to the customer experience director.

    The auditor uses tools to alert clinical staff of any necessary changes that need to be made to their documentation.

    What your day might look like:
    Report and review treatment plans and send follow up to clinical staff
    Provide daily audit of documentation to review data and ensure proper billing standards are met
    Acts as directed to ensure that concerns identified through Utilization Reviews or potential billing exceptions are promptly corrected
    Makes recommendations on ways to reduce compliance vulnerabilities, to prevent occurrences, and gives input on corrective action planning related to compliance matters
    Other duties as assigned

    Your skills and qualifications:
    High school diploma/GED
    1+ years' experience preferred
    General knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
    General knowledge of OMH regulations
    Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation required for local and regional travel.
