About Danielle Dorter:

I'm a NYC-based HR leader with over 20 years of experience spanning all facets of HR. Most of my experience has been as an HR Generalist, but in my last role I was tapped to create and lead an Employee Relations and HR Operations Center of Excellence. I am a relationship-driven, business-minded professional who helps organizations plan for, anticipate, prevent, and navigate complex situations. I have extensive experience in employee relations, talent management, succession planning, learning and development, and strategic workforce planning. I take my work seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously. 

Experience

I am a catalyst for managers and employees to engage in open and transparent feedback with mutual respect. I help organizations anticipate and navigate complex situations, resulting in reduced risk, increased employee engagement, and superior leaders. I upskill and coach employees at all levels to interact with one another in ways that result in higher engagement and increased retention. I identify and implement policies and processes that elevate productivity and efficiency throughout the organization.

My “superpowers” are relationship-building and influencing others, and I use those skills to achieve trust and push people outside of their comfort zones to move objectives forward. Though I am relationship-focused, I am highly organized and process-driven, and blend both my ‘left and right brain’ to assess, create, improve, communicate, and implement initiatives.
