    Job Description

    The growing structural engineering firm is looking for an AutoCAD draftsperson to join their team. This is a full-time position based in Long Island City, Queens.

    The drafter will collaborate closely with engineers and other team members in the office, offering a valuable opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in demolition engineering and structural design.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Create detailed and precise construction plans for various structural engineering projects, including commercial and residential properties.
    • Collaborate with a principal engineer to implement necessary corrections to drawings within challenging timelines.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in AutoCAD
    • Proficiency in engineering and architectural drafting is essential
    • Ability to produce comprehensive plans and sections
    • Strong communication skills are highly valued
