A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based company is seeking a part-time, temporary
CAD Drafter/Estimator. The company specializes in curated grille collections and creative architectural metal product solutions.

Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Drafter/Estimator in Brooklyn, NY. They will be responsible for creating and modifying engineering drawings and schematics using CAD software.

The CAD Operator will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawing packages.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create shop drawings to company standards for the company
Assist in review of blueprints to help locate and create takeoffs or grille schedules
Produce accurate and timely reproductions
Take handdrawn plans and verbal descriptions and use

Qualifications

2 Years of experience using Auto-CAD software & PC usage
Ability to read blueprints
Able to work with mathematical and structural concepts
Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary

Pay:
$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
