    Stealth Startup

    Seeking a head of product for a new venture I'm launching to enable 50MM+ expert-knowledge workers to more easily engage in fractional work. Maybe to start with a little on me and then more on role and business. I'm a serial founder and part of a small team that is incubating new ventures. Prior to our current work, we have built two companies from PPT to acquisition. Prior companies were backed by top venture funds and we have commitments from former investors to back this new business. The startup I'm launching supports expert-level knowledge workers who today generally have a full time job and want to do part-time work on the side. There are millions of knowledge workers who already are engaged in this type of work. Many tens of millions more want to do this work but often don't know where or how to start. And current gig economy infrastructure often does not address the needs of expert-level knowledge workers. I've already built an early product and I have a clear point of view on the product we need to build for scale. I'm now organizing a team to execute. I'm looking for a world class product leader who fits this description:
    • Bottoms-up saas - Experience building bottoms-up saas products from the ground up to scale. This does not mean you need to have built Slack, but you need to show evidence that you've built a product that worked and scaled to lots of users.
    • Deep focus on the customer - Plenty of evidence of working backwards from customer needs, diving deep into market and customer research to understand what to build and what to adjust.
    • Product-led growth - You have strong opinions on product-led growth and how done well this can drive product and business strategy.
    • Lots of startup experience - You've been a part of many startups as either co-founder or on the co-founding team and you love the zero to one startup culture and way of working.
    • Experience in big tech - Not a requirement but ideally you've worked in big tech for at least a few years in a mid to senior role. You've demonstrated you can manage people and excel in operationally rigorous environments.
    • 10-15 years experience - In a role where you have evidence of building multiple products that have reached scale. You're going to need at least this many years of experience.
    • CEO chops - Our founding team is open to various configurations of long-term roles. There could be an opportunity to step into the CEO role if you are the best person to lead the company long-term.
    • Proven top performer - You are a consistent exceptional performer professionally and in many personal respects as well.
    • World-class communicator - You communicate incredibly well both verbally and in writing. You take pride in how you communicate and this is one of your superpowers.
