RAKHERE TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an Export Control Analyst in the automotive or heavy commercial vehicle industry to join our team in Greensboro, NC, supporting a client in the heavy commercial vehicle sector (Volvo Trucks).

Job Description

Play a key role in aligning with the business strategy for trade compliance as the Customs Master Data (Export Control Classification) Senior.
Responsible for product classification for product development, including military vehicle adaptations in US legal entities.
Monitor Export Administration Regulations and DDTC Regulations, analyzing their impact on Group ECCN and ITAR classifications.
Contribute to the global knowledgebase development for Export Control Classification in the dual-use classification community.
Lead export/import impact analysis in response to new or updated sanctions affecting export classifications.
Conduct classification investigations for sensitive products or technology.
Define priorities for classification operations through analytics and forecast for US exports.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in engineering, International Trade, or equivalent experience is required.
Prior experience with Export Administration Regulations, DDTC, and Commodity Jurisdiction experience is highly desirable.
Certification as a Certified Export Specialist is preferred.
Leadership qualities, networking skills, and a willingness to learn are crucial for this role.
Digital and analytics proficiency is necessary for processing and utilizing large amounts of data for actionable insights.
Liaise with key stakeholders such as the head of legal counsel, head of sales, and head of engineering.
Engage in special projects involving ITAR technology, US EAR 600-series technology, or government projects, requiring US citizenship and the exclusion of multiple citizenships.
The position is based in Greensboro, NC, with frequent travel to Shippensburg, PA, and other global locations.
