Description

What You'll Do:As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will work on the IT Operations team on Cloud and Cyber Security initiatives as set forth by TFM's Enterprise Information Security (EIS) team. You will administer and implement configurations in Azure, M365 and other cloud service providers to protect TFM's data from unauthorized access, threats, and attacks. You will build and configure systems to fend off attacks using vendor tools, scripts and other means. You will test and implement new procedures and troubleshoot and respond to security incidents with our incident response team.
Lead the continuous monitoring, implementation and security operations of Azure and M365 cloud solutions, ensuring they protect TFM from breaches and data loss, meet industry best practices and comply with compliance requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, GRC analysts, and IT Operations team, to develop highly secure and scalable architectures. Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid organization that includes IT Operations, System and Cyber Security.
Architect and implement identity and access management, vulnerability management, asset management and security operations solutions.
Analyze IT environments and develop strategies to address vulnerabilities, integrating security controls and monitoring mechanisms into Azure, M365 and on-prem solutions.
Contribute to the the selection and configuration of Azure services and tools, aligning them with compliance and security framework standards.
Stay up to date with the latest Azure and M365 changes as well as changes in TFMs mandatory compliance requirements and adherence to security frameworks.
As part of the security incident response (IR) team, understand and continuously improve IR playbooks, leading the engineering aspects of IR.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

At a minimum, what you'll need:Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity and/or equivalent work experience.
4+ years' experience in a Windows / Cloud Security Engineering role.
8+ years' overall experience in working in IT Operations or IT Services organization.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in architecting and implementing secure solutions for Azure and M365.
Experience with PCI and NIST-CSF compliance requirements, including familiarity with controls and security processes.
Strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and tools, such as Azure Active Directory, Okta and Auth0.
Demonstrated expertise in cloud security practices, including encryption, data protection, network security, and vulnerability management.
Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies within the Azure / M365 environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Expert level experience with Windows OS, registry, file system and Event logs
Experienced subject matter expert with hands on experience with security technologies like Endpoint Detection Response (EDR), Anti-malware solutions & Data Loss Prevention.
Mastery in log file analysis, fault isolation and diagnostic/assessment actions including root cause analysis, followed by the determination and self-directed execution of corrective actions.
In-depth understanding of operating system (OS) internals, the mechanics of OS exploits with preventive and detective controls

Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP (preferred)
CompTIA Security+
CompTIA Cloud+
Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
Professional Scrum Master
Hands-on experience using one or more of the following, is a plus:
Microsoft Azure and M365 security configuration
Vulnerability Management platform – Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys, etc.
SIEM – Sentinel, Rapid7, Splunk, etc.
Data Governance – BigID, OneTrust, Varonis, etc.
Anti-Virus – Crowdstrike, Sophos, etc.
Ansible/ Powershell
Experience with Kubernetes security operations is desirable.
