- Assist with the annual budget, forecasting, and standard setting processes; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, with a complete understanding of all the risks and opportunities
- Understand variances to budget and prior year and identifying opportunities for cost reductions and improvements
- Analysis of month-end results: P&L and Balance Sheet including variance analysis
- Assist in the preparation of the month end results package for the company that is presented to Senior Management
- Responsible for validation of month-end financial controls and intercompany reconciliations
- KPI Reporting, development and improvement
- Monitor and work with Management and Sales Office on Continuous Improvement initiatives and track accordingly
- Be a finance business partner to other departments (technical department, production team, etc.)
- Ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics as needed
- Responsible for the overall investment request process including validation of assumptions, preparation and submissions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum of 3 years of general accounting or finance experience
- Specific Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP packages, SAP is preferred
- Must be able to perform duties following all regulatory GMP/FSMA food hygiene practices
