- Assist in executing operational risk management processes to identify, measure, monitor, manage, and report risks using approved methodologies.
- Foster a robust operational risk culture within the Branch by supporting and overseeing the first line of defense through various operational risk management programs.
- Ensure the Branch's operational risk programs are effectively implemented through training, awareness initiatives, and ongoing monitoring.
- Review and approve risk assessments conducted by both First Line Units (FLUs) and Independent Risk Management (IRM).
- Review operational risk reports and offer guidance on identified deficiencies.
- Review, update, and maintain all related policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant - Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational risk management within the banking sector, with a focus on Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) or Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) risk assessment.
- Experience in collaborating on risk assessment programs involving control assessment and testing, including RCSA, SOX, Audit, or consulting engagements.
- Proficiency in writing control descriptions, designing controls, and conducting control testing.
- Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, FRM, or an MBA are preferred but not mandatory.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English would be advantageous.
