I am a meticulous project manager, driven, curious, and always seeking opportunities to learn and grow. In the last five years, I have served as an operational project manager, contributing to the successful running of a company with a monthly revenue of about $100,000. 

Pre-transitioning into Project Management, I worked as a journalist in one of the largest radio networks in West Africa. During this time, I honed excellent verbal and written communication skills. I am an experienced news/opinion writer. I am a detailed researcher with newsroom management skills. Politics, Education, Insecurity, and the Impact of the UN's Millennium Development Goals on developing nations are some of the issues I have covered as a journalist.

I am an expert at finding, organizing, and communicating complex information to a diverse audience. I am adept at negotiation and can influence others. I used these skills to coordinate the rehabilitation of a newsroom to go paperless through the management of computer installations and staff training during a two-year initiative that impacted 500+ users. 

To expand my skill set, I completed Google Project Management and Scrum Master certifications. My skills in stakeholder management, project scheduling and planning, risk management, agile methodology, and budgeting make me a candidate with a diverse but relevant skillset needed to excel as a project manager.

As I journeyed through project management, I found that asking the right questions at the planning stage of any project is foundational for success in project management. I am happy that this is a skill I possess in abundance.
