I am about people not politics, individuality not physical perfection, enjoy exploration and adventure whether by travel, education or reinventing myself. I am a native New Yorker and value kindness, wit, character and sincerity and accustomed to working in with individuals and groups of many diversities and communities..

Now, my credentials… I am a licensed social worker (LMSW) with advance certifications for practice with adults and families (ASW-G). I am a learning specialist and the academic coach at Marymount Manhattan College for students with learning disabilities. Also, I facilitate support groups for adult children who are caring for people with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. A full cv is available on request.

As I said, I am about people and would enjoy being a guest representative for the Museum of Natural History which happens to be across the street from where I live. I look forward to hearing from you.

For the past 14 years I have served as a Learning Specialist and Academic Coach in the Academic Access Program of Marymount Manhattan College, which helps students with learning disabilities get the targeted support they need to excel.

Continuing a 33-year association with CaringKind as a facilitator for support groups for caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia

Additionally, my list of work assignments include: psychotherapist at St. Vincent’s Hospital, counselor/ support group leader at Gay Mens’ Crisis Center, care manager at Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, adult daycare coordinator at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and independent consultant for the Geriatric Outreach Project at Emma L. Bowen community Service Center in Harlem.
