    Description
    • 1: Project deployment of SAP and other IT systems.
    • 2: Once project has been rolled out and stable, ensuring that master data is in high standards.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Phase 1: System's project deployment

    • Support rollout Systems project for Chicago site including creating materials and other master data objects, testing systems, checking data integrity, creating parameters/structures, create user manuals and process flows, training staff and providing hyper care and trouble shooting.
    • Lead together with business stakeholders: extraction, transformation and loading the necessary master data to feed into the different Systems to be rolled out including: materials (part numbers and inventories) , machines (capacities, setup times, overlaps) and work centers, production (including Bill of Materials and Routings), shipping parameters,...
    • Support on master data for other objects: sales orders, purchase orders, invoices.
    • Lead the migration of objects from the Legacy system to the new Systems, ensuring high standards of accuracy.
    • Align and deploy a robust process to request, create and maintain master data.
    • Maintain configurable materials.
    • Prepare reports, or deliver presentations, about their recommended approach (or modifications), including creation of proposals to change current SAP ePayments template and specifying benefit evaluation.Deployment of approved changes & functionalities in the organization.​

    Change Management:

    • Ensure smooth transition to the new system structures and features.
    • Document system solutions in a comprehensive manner.
    • Provide training and extensive support to end-users, ensuring optimal utilization of the implemented SAP functionalities.
    • Conduct knowledge transfer and training to business users and IT team, including sharing best practices.

    Quality Assurance & Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct software tests to ensure that the systems function optimally and that all features integrate well with one another.
    • Ensure that all deliverables are up to the highest standards of quality and comply with industry and company regulations.
    • Implement KPIs to measure and manage the key processes and activities critical to system utilization and effectiveness.
    • Assurance of local process adherence according to the established "template".​

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or challenges promptly.
    • For the correspondent SAP stream, act as the local primary point of contact from both internal teams and external vendors.
    • Foster a culture of transparency, ensuring all related stakeholders are kept informed and involved.
    • Being able to establish and maintain a North American key user community (US and Canada).
    • Foster exchange with other global key user communities​

    Authority

    • Represent the business locally & make decisions upon end-user requests.​
    • Sufficient access to systems & applications (Authorizations), e.g. SAP ECC.​

    Phase 2:Ensure Master Data is in high standards

    • The Master Data Management Specialist will be responsible for the proper configuration, setup, organization, creation and maintenance of Systems Master Data for the materials, planning, production (including Bill of Materials and Routings), warehousing, shipping,... Collaborate with Finance for costing.
    • Create and maintain the local variant configuration objects and request to central team to create/maintain the global objects.
    • Active role in Design Review (DSR) meeting for fine spec configuration to ensure proper Sales Order setup.
    • Transact proper material introduction into SAP thru ProPLMClient from ProNovia.
    • Verify accuracy of MMR with regard to sales orders and applicable production orders.
    • Performance will be to support production requirements, quicker new product launches, elimination and control of duplicate records.
    • Support the creation and distribute organization data reports as required.
    • Documenting SAP processes related to Master Data.
    • Troubleshoot issues with materials, configurations, orders, etc. related to master data.
    • Partners with department managers to fully understand user functionality, pain points, and areas with opportunity for improvement.
    • Develop and deliver clear, concise, and effective end user training and associated training materials.
    • Continues to learn and develop technical SAP and business expertise.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

    • Methodic, precise person. Able to manage large sets of data.
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
    • 3 + years of Master Data management.
    • 3 + years of SAP experience required.
    • Knowledge of SAP Variant Configuration objects and basic programing.
    • Strong Excel and database building/navigating skills
    • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure and interface with all levels of the organization. Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
