\u003C/p>

\u003Cp>The Credit and Operations Business Analyst - US/CAN/MX will be responsible for supporting the Data and Analytics Manager in the Credit Operations department for US, Canada and Mexico. The Business Analyst will interact with key users to be responsible and support analysis and reporting needs within Mercedes-Benz Financial Services including production, ad-hoc, and manual reporting. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing supported departments information needs and making recommendations to management regarding solutions to business problems and areas where efficiencies can be increased. In addition, they will work with the Data and Analytics Manager and Data Steward for identifying enhancements to the reporting environment by following formal system development methods and assist in project tasks regarding NFA (New Finance Agreement). A candidate must have basic proficiency in data warehouse concepts and Business Intelligence tools, preferably Cognos. An ideal candidate will have good understanding and experience in data warehouse concepts and query generation.\u003C/p>

\u003Cp>Responsibilities:
\u003C/p>

\u003Cul>
\u003Cli>Quality Control: 1. Review daily, weekly, and monthly manual reports produced by the Credit Ops Reporting Team in US, Canada, Mexico as well as other outside sources for accuracy and resolve issues as needed. 2. Publish the reports to customers based on the distribution lists. (10%)\u003C/li>
\u003Cli>Scope: 1. Review customers reporting requests and determine how to translate the requested report into a physical form, which includes defining the measures, dimensions and layout of the report. 2. Work with the Business Management and stakeholders between US, Canada, and Mexico to approve the defined scope. 3. Participate in the development cycle providing guidance and consulting as the report signs off. (10%)\u003C/li>
\u003Cli>Customer Support: 1. Assess customers requests and provide ad hoc reporting (using Business Intelligence tools, which include Cognos Suite, MS Access and Excel, SQL) and analysis based on those requests. 2. Trouble shoot issues with report and data integrity as needed 3. Attend project meetings at a customers request providing any analysis or other information required by the customer. 4. Hold regular meetings with US, Canada, and Mexico department management to assess and prioritize, analysis, and reporting requests based on department strategy 5. Support multiple Sr. Management between US, Canada, Mexico in the monthly prioritization process to ensure correct prioritization for reporting requests. (50%)\u003C/li>
\u003Cli>Credit and Operations Department Representation: 1. Assist with special initiatives/projects specific to related Mercedes-Benz Financial Services US, Canada, and Mexico initiatives. 2. Represent Credit and Operations reporting team during participation on key project initiatives. 3. Identify data gaps and utilize the established processes to include data in the existing data mart structures or and/or data warehouse. (10%)\u003C/li>
\u003Cli>Business Analysis and Consulting: 1. Provide analytical and consulting engagements within the functional areas of reporting responsibility between US, Canada, and Mexico. 2. Identify key areas of opportunity through process mapping or data analysis that would reduce or eliminate redundant reporting processes. 3. Reduce the number of manually generated reports through automation. (20%)\u003C/li>
