The Job and Company:
At Aeroflow, our Sleep Billing Team comprises 13 dedicated individuals with the primary goal of recovering outstanding debts from health insurance providers or patients. We cater to patients who use continuous positive airway and non-invasive ventilation equipment and supplies from Aeroflow Sleep. The Patient Advocates form the face of Aeroflow Sleep Billing, working alongside insurance specialists and the Prior Authorization team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with billing, insurance, and account operations
- Handle high volume inbound and outbound calls
- Verify insurance details
- Clearly explain claims and benefits to patients
- Ensure required medical documentation is in order
- Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email
- Effectively manage multiple tasks
- Maintain compliance with laws and regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google/Gmail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- HIPAA confidentiality knowledge
- Previous office and multi-phone line experience preferred
