    The Basics Of a IT Support Analyst:

    • Contract position
    • Will require a flexible time commitment sometimes beyond a normal 40-hour work week including after hours

    What You'll Do As a IT Support Analyst / Responsibilities:

    Under general supervision, provide first-level support and ensure a wide variety of problems involving hardware and software applications are diagnosed and resolved in a timely and professional manner to provide a Top-Tier Information Technology (IT) experience to students & staff.

    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer equipment, peripherals, software, and services.
    • Provide technical support and training to assist all with technology equipment and applications, both remotely and in person.
    • Diagnose hardware, software, and system problems reported to Help Desk.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot technology equipment, software, and services to ensure high availability. Collaborate with users and vendors to achieve the same.
    • Ensure that IT support requests reported via various channels such as calls, ticketing systems are fully recorded and tracked in the Help Desk system.
    • Effectively prioritize calls to ensure incidents with the greatest impact are resolved first
    • Assist with procurement of reliable and efficient end user technology equipment, software, and services at competitive costs.
    • Assist with IT hardware and software inventory management.
    • Decommission and recycle or dispose of hardware and software per departmental procedures.
    • Assist with the technology budgeting process by researching and gathering information required to budget for end user technology equipment, software, and services.
    • Stay current with technologies and applications used by our users. Recommend ways to improve operational efficiencies leveraging new and existing technology.
    • Assist with updating and maintaining current personal computer policies and computer security manuals.
    • Document computer problems and resolutions for future reference.
    • Good problem solving and root cause analytical capabilities
    • Positive working attitude and be a committed team player
    • The candidate should show a strong willingness to learn new technologies.

    Must haves for a IT Support Analyst:

    • 3 year's experience in a Technology Support role or similar support role.
    • Working knowledge of Windows Desktop OS, iOS, Chrome OS, networking fundamentals, peripherals, active directory.
    • Professional work ethics.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, O365,
    • Understanding of Network Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.),
    • Knowledge of JAMF, Zoom, Trello, Google Workspace. Jupiter
    • PowerShell or scripting is a plus
    • Bachelors in Computer Science or Diploma.
