    Job Description Job Description KE Camps is the leading provider of summer camps for country clubs nationwide. We partner with over 230 private clubs all over the country to implement traditional-style day camps for elementary-aged children.

    As a staff member, we guarantee you will feel a part of the KE Camps TeamAs a Logistics Coordinator , you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers.

    You will be directly responsible for working closely with your camp director, the club and camp parents to ensure campers are safely and efficiently transferred to and from their scheduled club-related (on-site) programming during the camp day.

    Our Logistics Coordinators interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being.

    The role of a Logistics Coordinator is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.

    Camp Logistics Coordinator QualitiesAbility to help children grow in character, experiences and insightsAbility to guard the health and well-being of campers at all timesCapable of sustaining energy for participation in a full day's worth of activitiesPrior experience working with childrenEnthusiastic, Responsible, Dependable, Consistent, Level-Headed, Flexible, and Calm in all situationsCPR/First Aid Certified OR willing to become certified before the summer beginsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to make decisions and adjust plans in real timeAbility to lead a group of childrenCamp Logistics Coordinator ResponsibilitiesWork with group of campers and provide a fun, safe and exciting camp experienceCooperate with fellow Counselors and Camp DirectorGreet families and campers upon arrivalSupport Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campersParticipate in all camp activitiesSupervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water (lifeguard certification not required)Help out where needed and lead activities when asked to by the Camp DirectorWork with the club to produce a roster of campers enrolled in club-provided programmingCheck-in with parents daily regarding their camper's scheduled private lesson or junior programming sessions, to ensure schedule is always accurate in the event of last-minute changesDevelop logistical plan for getting camper to and from on-site club provided programming throughout the day in a safe, efficient mannerComplete necessary paperwork documenting camper transference throughout the dayComplete other duties, as assignedOur camp is located at The Lake Forest Club in Lake Forest, IL.

    Camp will run Monday-Friday from June 10 through August - staff members must be available to work the full camp season.
