    Job Description

    Polynovo is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Specialist to join our US Marketing team in Carlsbad, CA. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in contributing to and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of Polynovo's products within the US market. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of communication, creative flair, and hands-on execution skills to contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives.

    The Marketing Specialist Role at PolyNovo is ideal for someone with a strong foundation of marketing principles who is looking to make an impact, be part of a high-performing team, and further their professional career through professional development and accomplishment. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, organization, problem-solving, and creative skills in working with the marketing team to develop and execute towards impact goals. The Marketing Specialist will report to the Marketing Director by executing on a mix of their own projects and supporting other marketing functions. Immediate needs are:
    1. Supporting our Event Manager through tradeshow management, booth design, and messaging.
    2. Supporting product management and upstream marketing in the launch of multiple new products.
    3. Contributing to the development and execution of our digital marketing strategies.
    4. Development of internal and external marketing content.

    Products
    • NovoSorb BTM is a man-made synthetic polymer that does not contain any biological materials. This is important because traumatic wounds often contain bacteria that may cause infection. Given that BTM is comprised of synthetic material it does not contain any food for bacteria and has shown to be robust and retain product integrity in the presence of infection. NovoSorb BTM is indicated for use in the management of wounds including partial and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, chronic and vascular ulcers, surgical wounds, trauma wounds (abrasions, lacerations, second-degree burns, and skin tears), and draining wounds.

    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry.
    • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and web analytics.
    • Creative with the ability to generate innovative ideas, solutions, and improvements.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a propensity to take the initiative.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to track deliverables, communicate, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong desire to develop professionally.
    • Ability to travel up to 25%.
    Job Requirements
    • Participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies: Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Product Management Team, and Marketing Communications Team to educate and reach our customers across North America.
    • Event Planning and Execution: Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events, such as conferences, trade shows, and educational seminars. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and maximize brand exposure.
    • Content Creation and Collateral Development: Create compelling marketing content, including brochures, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and digital assets. Ensure that all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages to target audiences.
    • Sales Support and Collateral Distribution: Provide support to the sales team by developing sales tools and collateral materials. Ensure that sales representatives have access to relevant marketing resources to effectively communicate product value propositions to customers.
    • Digital Marketing and Social Media Management: Manage Polynovo's digital presence across various online channels, including website, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns. Monitor and analyze digital metrics to optimize performance
      and drive engagement.
    • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, product development, and regulatory teams, to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
    Compensation Information

    Base: $60-90k based on experience.

    Location
    • Acceptable Candidate Location:
      Must currently live in/near Carlsbad, CA, and be able to commute to the office 2-3x a week.

      Travel: 25% travel, fluctuates based on conferences.
