    Position Summary:

    Ryan Specialty has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Corporate Counsel to join the Legal Department's Market Agreement team. This team primarily manages contractual relationships with Ryan Specialty's trading partners. This Associate Corporate Counsel will work closely with senior attorneys to develop, negotiate and implement a variety of transactional documents and agreements on behalf of various internal clients in a collegial and dynamic legal department, within a growing international specialty insurance organization. The position offers exposure to commercial and corporate transactions, working independently and with senior attorneys. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business leaders and exposure to the executive team.

    Essential Functions:

    Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial and transactional agreements with trading partners.

    Provide support to senior attorneys in complex commercial transactions such as M&A.

    Work closely with our legal and business teams as well as collaborate with various departments to help accomplish strategic objectives.

    Conduct legal and factual research, and data analysis and reporting as requested.

    Ensure legal and operational compliance of the Company's market partners.

    Utilize contract management software to manage agreements, amendments, legal and compliance due diligence and related tasks.

    Identify and assess legal and business risks to the Company.

    Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to business leaders and/or executives.

    Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents, data and potential business transactions.
