Description

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a working student to support our Telecom & Navigation Processing Center in Krebs, OK.

Our department specializes in high performance processing solutions for satellites and has a strong background in FPGA designs for missions such as Galileo and OneSat.

As a working student, you will be responsible for evaluating, modifying, and running algorithms on a specific European space-grade FPGA.

This will involve working with tools such as Matlab HDL Coder, writing VHDL code, simulating designs, and validating results on hardware.

Located near the beautiful city of Munich, our site offers easy access to outdoor activities such as sports, hiking, and skiing in the nearby Alps and Lake Starnberg.

Your tasks will include identifying critical algorithms, implementing them on a rad-hard MPSoC with embedded FPGA, and improving the maximum frequency of designs to create a library of algorithms for future missions.

We are looking for a full-time student enrolled in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, with a background in digital technology and signal processing.

Knowledge of FPGAs and HDLs, as well as programming skills in Python, C/C++, and Matlab/Simulink, are required. Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of French or German is a plus. We value teamwork, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Please note that this position may require a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities. To apply, please submit a cover letter
