A prestigious commercial real estate management firm in Chicago, IL is on the hunt for a skilled Property Administrator to join their dynamic team. As the Property Administrator, you'll be at the forefront of managing portfolios, diving deep into accounting, operations, and work order duties. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a fresh-faced enthusiast eager to dive into the world of real estate, this opportunity is tailor-made for anyone with a hunger for knowledge and a passion for success. The compensation for this role is $18-20/hr commensurate with your experience.

    Responsibilities of the Property Administrator:

    • Optimize day-to-day operations within the management office
    • Engage with visitors, tenants, vendors, and contractors
    • Supervise insurance policies, license agreements, and essential documentation
    • Enforce contracts and monitor activity diligently
    • Reach out directly to tenants regarding overdue payments
    • Vigilantly track and address outstanding work orders
    • Handle invoicing, reimbursements, and budget planning
    • Support marketing efforts and website maintenance
    • Uphold the overall aesthetics of office and public spaces
    • Execute administrative tasks such as managing purchase orders, expense reports, and filing duties

    Requirements of the Property Administrator:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Previous administrative experience preferred
    • Real estate and/or property management preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Highly organized and detail oriented
