Responsibilities:


  • In a facility for patrons, Marion, VA, circulates among patrons to ensure satisfactory service; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
  • Assists patrons in using the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
  • Plans, conducts, publicizes, and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments, and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


Conditions of Employment:


  • Must be willing to work rotating schedules that include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A oneyear probationary period may be required.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all preemployment checks in accordance with AR 2153, para.2, including a Tier 1 background investigation.

  • Work experience dealing with the general public.
