- Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies tailored to greenfield construction/manufacturing projects.
- Maintain project management standards, tools, and templates to support successful dairy construction and processing projects.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
- Manage project portfolios, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
- Establish routines and processes to track key project milestones using PMO365 and Microsoft Planner.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures during project execution.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operational teams to ensure project alignment and integration.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Audit and report compliance with project management processes and policies, analyzing gaps and implementing corrective measures for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field; PMP certification required.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience leading Project/Program Management activities in highly regulated CPG Greenfield projects.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with a capacity to handle ambiguity and learn quickly.
- Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with proficiency in project lifecycle management, planning, fiscal management, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, operations, and best practices, including lean manufacturing principles, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making, with experience in managing organizational change initiatives.
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing and operations, including equipment, technology, automation, and industry-specific regulations.
- Familiarity with permitting processes, external stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and project safety leadership.
- Business acumen with a focus on aligning project initiatives with overall business strategy.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and manufacturing/operations.
