- Leads the day-to-day operations, activity, & development of the field-based divisional leaders
- Collaborates with Head of Company Restaurants, VP of FP&A, Operations leadership at various business unit levels and other functions across the company to drive results each day
- Provides leadership direction through positive management and guidance; spends time in restaurants, actively participates in daily discussions on restaurant performance, execution of marketing philosophies and the development of restaurant marketing plans
- Works collaboratively with business unit leadership to develop & implement robust marketing plans that include specific marketing objectives (Sales, Customers, ROI & Brand Loyalty goals)
- Ensures alignment to ROI methodologies and consistent execution and follow up to monitor effectiveness
- Enforces Raising Cane's brand standards
- Ensures the development and implementation of our Active Community Involvement (ACI) strategy
- Collaborates with recruiting to source, select and hire high caliber team to support the company's growth
- Responsible for overseeing, developing, and mentoring Restaurant Marketing Crewmembers by assessesiing performance objectively and providing clear and direct feedback
- Develops and maintains a detailed marketing budget that outlines all costs affecting the restaurant level marketing spend; responsible for managing period financial results
- Ensures the marketing team has necessary tools and systems in place to support the restaurants which include marketing plans, media, and sponsorships
- Collaborates with the Director of Media Planning to develop and execute plans that build awareness, drive traffic and address individual market dynamics
- Collaborates with RSO Marketing team to implement system campaigns and programs & leverage customer insights to develop effective local store marketing plans
- Identifies opportunities to drive traffic and build brand awareness through grass roots marketing efforts
- Ensures Raising Cane's philosophy is brought to life by supporting the communities through local marketing events, tools and partnerships
- Budget and invoice reconciliation
- Prepares and shares weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis on sales, traffic and other relevant data
- Collaborates with Business Unit Leaders and FP&A to inform company business unit sales and traffic forecast
- Identifies and evaluates sponsorship opportunities, including managing budgets and execution
- Partners with Director of Media Planning to ensure the correct strategy is deployed in each DMA, responsible for ensuring the Restaurant Marketing team is engaged in the detailed plans by proactively communicating with Restaurants, following up on execution results and provides market insights to plans
- Partners with the Customer Communications team to manage incidents and promote activity
- Partners with the Creative Services team to ensure brand standards are trained and reinforced
- Leads the development and execution of marketing plans to support new restaurant openings
- 15 years field marketing management experience in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment
- Experience leading a large field based team consisting of remote multi-tiered marketing teams
- Knowledge and experience working with media and sponsorships
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Microsoft Proficient:
- Strong financial acumen
- Based in Plano, TX (Dallas Restaurant Support Office) and ability to travel 30-40% of the time

Your Role at Raising Cane's:
Restaurant Marketing at Raising Cane's is the localization of the brand and implementation of marketing strategy. Restaurant Marketing is executed through community level marketing activations, local media & public relations efforts, sponsorships and active community involvement initiatives.
The
Vice President of Restaurant Marketing leads the Restaurant Marketing team by providing strategic leadership and ensuring the successful implementation of the organization's marketing strategies & tactics.
Working closely with Business Unit Leaders, the Vice President of Restaurant Marketing leads the development of localized marketing plans that are aligned to brand standards and designed to contribute to overall business unit goals which include driving customer traffic and establishing a strong brand with clear market positioning to increase brand loyalty.
This leader is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing strategies, tactics & programs and provide feedback, collaborate with the Restaurant Support Office (RSO) Marketing function to influence the evolution of programs, systems & processes.
