    Job Overview

    The Workforce Development Coordinator will be in charge of enhancing apprentice and mentorship programs. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to create processes and placement plans, developing application and onboarding procedures, implementing training and reporting strategies, and managing community outreach, recruitment, screening, and placements.

    The Coordinator offers administrative support for intern and readiness programs, ensuring their success by meeting goals and deadlines. They work closely with program leaders, supervisors, mentors, and management to fulfill program requirements.

    Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain relationships with educational and community partners - Coordinate intern and apprentice placements - Facilitate program events - Support onboarding and training initiatives - Ensure intern compliance and progress tracking - Provide training and mentor support - Present at events and job fairs

    Required Education/Experience:

    - Bachelor's degree - 1-3 years of volunteer or intern management experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    Desired Experience:

    - Project management - Building relationships with community partners - Nonprofit behavioral health agency experience - Exposure to substance use disorder treatment

    Skills and Abilities:

    - Professionalism, punctuality, and reliability - Strong communication and organization skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize - Initiative and willingness to collaborate - Adaptability to changing project scopes - Clear background check and vaccination status required
