    Description

    Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Software Engineer - Risk Engineering for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in New York, NY .

    Responsibilities :

    • Project is aimed at improving the counterparty credit risk management capabilities for the firm including building new metrics and workflows to manage counterparty risk effectively
    Required Skills :
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on Application development
    • Expertise in the Java backend and React frontend technologies
    • Understanding of Rabbit MQ or similar messaging framework
    • Understanding of relational database technologies
    • Ability to understand business concepts and convert them into logical data models in a firm proprietary modeling language (Alloy)
    • Ability to read and understand existing code and debug
    • Prior experience building ETL processes and interaction with data
