    Job Overview:

    We're seeking a dedicated and energetic Community Outreach Specialist. Reporting to the Community Resilience Outreach Coordinator, you will be the boots on the ground, actively engaging in tabling events, partner-run activities, and facilitating workshops.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Represent Adaptive Strategies Group at community events and activities.
    • Facilitate and organize workshops focused on community empowerment and resilience.
    • Work closely with the Outreach Coordinator to implement outreach strategies.
    • Engage with community members, fostering relationships and promoting our programs.
    • Assist in coordinating and managing volunteers for various events and workshops.
    • Provide feedback and reports on community engagement and event outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required for events and workshops.
