    WeTheHobby, a trusted, high-growth brand in the sports card industry, specializes in crafting a unique hobby experience through creating dynamic livestream events, assisting local customers in our retail card shop, and shipping sports cards and related goods to clients worldwide. We are a passionate, forward-thinking team with a commitment to exceptional customer service in an explosive and exciting field.

    The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining and well-organized warehouse environment. As a crucial part of our breaking, sales, and warehouse operations, the ideal candidate should be highly motivated and detail oriented. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will report directly to the VP of Operational Excellence and will play a key role in coordinating logistics and optimizing processes to meet organizational goals.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Shipping and Receiving Operations

    • Oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
    • Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring proper invoicing, packaging, labeling, and documentation (including international shipping).
    • Keep accurate records of orders and quality control measures.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and discuss implementation changes with the VP of Operational Excellence.

    2. Logistics Coordination

    • Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
    • Track and analyze shipping and receiving performance metrics.

    3. Quality Assurance

    • Implement quality control processes to ensure products meet specified standards.
    • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality.

    4. Communication

    • Collaborate with other departments, such as product, procurement, and sales, to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
    • Communicate effectively with external customers, partners, carriers, and vendors.
    • Provide regular updates on shipping and receiving performance to management.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role.
    • Experience with computers and shipping software.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Positive, hard-working, and diligent.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with inventory management system or ERP.
    • Experience with Shipstation, Worldship, etc.
    • Experience with international shipping (generating EEI, customs documentation, etc.)
    • Enjoys and is knowledgeable of sports - sports cards knowledge a big plus
