    Description

    We are helping our client hire a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to join their Completions R&D Advanced Cabin team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to support our cutting-edge projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Discover and evaluate new/novel technologies for practical application within the aircraft environment.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical systems and solutions.
    • Conduct research and analysis to ensure compliance with aviation standards and safety regulations.
    • Create functional prototypes for evaluation and analysis.
    • Develop and execute test procedures for electrical systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
    • Generate technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and reports.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience in electrical system design, testing, and problem-solving.
    • Proficiency in using relevant software tools and programming languages.
    • -Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety practices, and industry best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to mentor junior engineering staff.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a specialized area of expertise.
    • Knowledge of CAD software and simulation tools.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
    • Previous transportation experience.
    • Experience in RF and wireless communications.
