The role entails **working with blood to conduct DNA extractions**. The job mainly involves **working in a laboratory setting**. The successful candidate will be responsible for **performing PCR**, **sequencing** (n-point pcr or r-pcr), and **using aseptic techniques** on a regular basis. The ideal candidate should be adept at **adhering to standard operating procedures** and maintaining **organized documentation**. This position offers ample opportunities to **learn molecular techniques** and their **implementation in automated processes**. Teamwork is crucial as the candidate will collaborate with others to **contribute to project success**. Working within a team of **specialized biotech professionals**, the consultant will play a key role in **bridging assay development and prototype design & testing**. While primarily part of the platform integration team, there will be **collaboration with other departments** at various project stages. **Problem-solving abilities** and **effective communication** will be essential for personal **success and professional growth**.
Candidates must be able to **fit into the team dynamics** and possess **soft skills** that align with the group's ethos, being **personable** and **enthusiastic**.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
A **Bachelor's degree** with **1-3 years of experience** in relevant life sciences (**Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Immunology**). Proficiency in **nucleic acid techniques** (DNA extraction, purification, quantification, qPCR, PCR multiplex), **Molecular biology** (sample preparation using magnetic particles), **data interpretation and analysis**, and **standard laboratory techniques** including aseptic technique is required. **Experience in a BSL-2 environment with live organisms** is beneficial. Ability to work with **human blood** is essential. **Competence in Microsoft Office Suite** (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is advantageous for daily tasks.
