ABOUT THE ROLE
This role-plays a crucial part in advancing our understanding of golf equipment and its connection to player performance.

You will conduct technical research and evaluate innovative golf equipment designs, using statistical and data driven analysis to identify areas for product advancements.

This role covers projects related to all club categories - woods, irons, wedges, putter. Your insights will ultimately help us develop cutting-edge golf clubs.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, schedule, and execute technical testing sessions with golfers to answer R&D equipment performance questions- Recruit and maintain relationships with a highly skilled panel of golfers to test prototype products.- Use player testing, robot testing, and lab testing to investigate key design parameters and their relationship to product performance.- Utilize statistical and analytical methods to interpret data and draw conclusions seeking to uncover trends and insights- Clearly present technical findings and recommendations in reports and presentations.- Develop and maintain data dashboards to effectively visualize data and efficiently answer questions.- Explore new data collection methods to increase understanding of golfers and equipment performance.- Participate in project teams, using process knowledge, performance knowledge, and other analysis to recommend design strategies.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)- Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.- Understanding of statistical and analytical test methods and software programs.- Familiarity with Python, R, Power BI, Matlab, or Minitab preferred.- Must possess high initiative and ability to be self-motivated with mínimal supervision.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, able to multi-task.- Previous work with databases is a plus.- Strong interpersonal communication skills; flexibility; responsiveness.- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Knowledge of golf, golf principals and terminology, golf equipment- Ability to occasionally work outside of normal working hours

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent required.- 0 to 3 years related experience.
