- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities based on the company's Ideal Client Profile
- Prospect to generate new leads and build a pipeline within the Atlanta Metro Area
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads through strategic outreach via cold calls, emails, networking, and social media platforms
- Track progress towards meeting sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales and lead nurture strategies
- Educate prospects about the benefits, features, and differentiators of our managed services offerings
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and presentations for potential clients
- Manage and update customer information and activities in the CRM system
- Work closely with marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and targets
- Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance sales skills and knowledge
- Must have worked for a managed services provider for at least 2 years in Sales
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales, with a focus on B2B or enterprise sales
- 2+ years of sales experience within an MSP
- Outside sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred
- Knowledge of sales methodologies (i.e. Consultative Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN Selling, Value Selling, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
- Strong sales acumen and business development skills
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Resilience and persistence in pursuing sales opportunities
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
