Airswift is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work with one of its major clients in Chesterfield, MO on a 6-month contract.

Summary:
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for their laboratory automation space.

Responsibilities:
Working on designs, calculations, builds, and testing of various hardware components.

working knowledge of safety, project management, fabrication print best practices, 3D printing, and experience in necessary hand tools within industry.

Researching products online, provide CAD drawings and write technical documents (assembly instructions, bill of materials, machine shop prints, and presentations)
Assist in assembling prototypes, running tests, participate in design reviews.
Must be able to work with other engineers and researchers both locally and remotely.
Individual will be working with other engineers, maintenance teams, scientists, machine shop, carpenters, electricians, technicians, and vendors.

Desires:
Working knowledge of safety and project management
Fabrication print practices, 3D printing
Experience in necessary hand tools within industry.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with CAD, SolidWorks and PDM.
