    Description

    Accounting Manager

    Our client is a dynamic, award-winning marketing agency, and a leading force in the industry. Known for their forward-thinking and customer serving approach, they were also voted a Best Place to Work in 2023. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join their finance team and play a key role in building and developing a team and help take the company to the next level.

    About the Company and the Accounting Manager role:

    • Role is mostly remote, prefer hybrid in Denver or Detroit Metro area.

    Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

    • Prepare Financial Statements for multiple entities
      • management reporting, key metrics
    • Consolidations and intercompany transactions
    • Manage the month end close process
      • prepare reconciliations, journal entries and accruals
    • Supervising a team, including training, mentoring
      • review their work
    • Ad hoc projects as needed
    • Review existing policies and procedures and make efficiency improvements where needed.

    Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • Public accounting experience required, CPA a plus
    • 4-6 years of accounting experience with financial reporting
    • supervisory experience required
    • ERP experience with larger system such as Netsuite, SAP or Oracle
    • organized, detail-oriented person who can work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
    • outgoing personality and able to build relationships easily.
