Platform Product owner NYC, NY and Alpharetta, GA Fulltime.

THE POSITION, General Description

Specifically, the Platform Product owner is accountable for one or more components of the following, with additional responsibility as assigned:

Defining Digital Solution Specifications (in collaboration with technology and business stakeholders) including:

Clarifying what we are solving for and how it delivers on the needs or pain points of our clients across their end-to-end user/customer journey or lifecycle.

Translating the needs of clients via direct client research and leveraging established personas and journey artifacts

Meeting with business and technology stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and the feasibility considerations around data and development

Understanding competitors' offerings across the industry with the goal of differentiating Parametric

Partnering with UI/UX Lead to ideate innovative digital solutions to test with clients as prototypes.

Gathering continual client feedback from a panel of engaged high priority clients

Establishing solution specifications (in the form of JIRA Epics and User Stories) that can clearly communicate requirements to technology development teams

Executing Digital Solutions as an Agile Product Owner:

Participating in Agile scrum team meetings to represent the needs of the client and clarify Solution Specifications as needed

Field questions or concerns from the design and technology team and help triage how to address them, i.e. come up with a creative new approach, find a workaround, bring in a relevant stakeholder, escalate, etc.

Monitor analytics measurement user activity dashboards for impact of execution and to consider pivots or new digital features, content, or experiences

Promoting Digital Solution Awareness and Adoption

Being an advocate and evangelist internally for our digital client experience and its importance in strengthening client relationships and growing the business

Helping craft content for marketing teams to use in the creation of marketing collateral or campaigns promoting the benefits of our digital client experience

Work with sales and operation team leads to help train them on how to promote our digital client platforms with clients

Primary Responsibilities

Communicate effectively - both verbally and written - with technology and business partners to include strong discussion, debate and listening skills and the ability to look beyond obvious answers to understand impacts.

Assist in planning and running design workshops and user sessions by identifying suitable participants, being clear about outcomes and approach

Assist in conducting client research via interviews and surveys and to empathically understand and articulate client needs

Review industry research and gain an understanding of competitor digital offerings to inform a strategic POV on Parametric digital platform

Partner with UI/UX Design Leads to creatively ideate potential solutions to deliver on

Translate client needs into detailed solution specifications that technology developers

Work collaboratively with business and development stakeholders to establish . Participate in technical design to help ensure it aligns with business objectives

Clearly understand and articulate dependencies that will influence sequencing of development

Effectively manage stakeholder relationships through polished communication and follow-through

Effective written communication through solution inception, vision and intent documents

Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders.

Provide consultation and ensure continuity with product and development teams on solution.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in digital product management, preferably in the asset or wealth management industry and/or fintech space

High-level knowledge of the US financial advisor audience

Demonstrated ability to articulate solution or product vision and/or customized solutions to meet business objectives and client needs

Experience in design thinking, Customer experience strategy and research, and/or service design highly preferred

Experience working in an Agile or SAFe Agile environment and a high-level understanding of Agile practices highly preferred

Strong skills using a variety of tools to communicate and collaborate internally including Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, JIRA, Miro/Mural/Lucid, etc.

Ability to learn quickly and work in a changing environment and under tight deadlines

Ability to independently manage personal timelines and meet tight deadlines

Ability to successfully manage and coordinate simultaneous project deliverables across groups and teams
