As we continue to expand our offerings, we are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to serve as a liaison for integrating our clients benefits APIs with the largest benefits carriers in the US.

Position:
Technical Product Manager - API Integration

Location:
Alpharetta, GA

Job Type:
Long-term contract

Responsibilities:

API Integration Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrating benefits APIs with major benefits carriers in the US market

Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact between our client and external benefits carriers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on integration objectives

Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development teams and sales representatives, to gather requirements for API integration and prioritize feature enhancements

Technical Oversight:
Work closely with development teams to oversee the technical implementation of API integrations, ensuring adherence to best practices and compatibility with existing systems

Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing and validation of API integrations to ensure functionality, reliability, and security, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise

Documentation and Training:
Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to support internal teams and external partners in understanding and utilizing benefits APIs effectively

Performance Monitoring:
Monitor the performance of API integrations post-launch, analyzing metrics and gathering feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization

Compliance and Security:

Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to data privacy, security, and compliance, ensuring that API integrations meet all necessary standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (10 years) in product managementStrong technical background with expertise in API integration and software development methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
