    Description

    ReThink Media seeks a talented, visionary, and accomplished media strategist to lead our Rights & Inclusion team in elevating the voices of organizers, activists, and artists advocating for the rights of Black, Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Sikh, and South Asian (BAMEMSSA) people across the country. The Rights & Inclusion Program Director will supervise a team of communications professionals, work alongside our Research & Analysis team, and collaborate with ReThink leadership and staff to build narrative power and communications capacity for BAMEMSSA communities and leaders; shift public opinion via news and digital media; and promote a more just civil society.

    ReThink Media is a unique, nonprofit organization that places media and communications at the center of our movement building agenda. We strengthen the collaborative media and communications capacity of state and national advocacy groups; increase the "voice share" of their spokespeople; and provide in-depth media, messaging, and opinion research to inform movement strategy. At present, ReThink works in three distinct, yet interconnected, issue areas: the protection of human and civil rights; strengthening our democracy; and a more constructive US foreign and national security policy.
