    Job Summary:

    Line Cooks at L.Woods are responsible for preparing, producing, and presenting menu items to delight our guests.

    Essential Functions

    • Prepare menu items following specified recipes and special requests
    • Available to work various hours, days, and shifts, including weekends
    • Safely operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives
    • Effectively communicate to understand and execute job requirements
    • Stay calm and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Work comfortably in a busy, noisy, and changing environment
    • Move and lift items of different weights, ensuring safety
    • Stand and walk throughout the shift, navigating restaurant areas

    Key Responsibilities and Duties

    • Adhere to portioning controls and par levels
    • Maintain food safety and quality standards
    • Use thermometers accurately
    • Report any food delays to the Coordinator
    • Monitor and communicate menu item quantities to Management and service staff
    • Track all items leaving the station
    • Follow food allergy procedures and special orders
    • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines
    • Abide by all employment policies including safety procedures
    • Collaborate effectively with team members
    • Perform any other duties as assigned
