    Job Description Job Description Senior EstimatorLocation: Houston, TexasAbout the CompanyOne of the leading General Contractor and Construction Management firms in the country.

    Revenues in excess of $600m per year and a portfolio of projects including commercial, healthcare, life sciences and corporate interiors.

    ResponsibilitiesCompiling accurate lump-sum bidsOversight of final estimating packages, ensuring for accuracy before quotingPre-qualification of subcontractorsMaterial take-offsProject buy outsContract negotiations and change ordersBudgeting, oversight of operating budgets, performance reviewsMentorship of junior estimatorsExperience RequiredAt least 7 years of experience in EstimatingPrior experience working as a lead estimator/senior estimator for a commercial General ContractorExcellent knowledge of construction contracts and contract negotiationExisting network of qualified subcontractorsExcellent oral and written communication skillsThis is a full-time position with excellent benefits, 401 (k) and annual bonus scheme.
