Description
AIM World Services, Inc.needs a responsible Senior Estimator for the overall implementation of construction cost estimating supporting our US Government Clients and our Project Teams.
The Senior Estimator ensures company requirements are met, provides quantitative development of material, labor, and subcontract take-offs, and coordinates information.
High function and focus is required for large to mid-sized projects. Must have strong technical communication skills.DutiesDevelop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the Project TeamDevelopment of project estimates, detailed and conceptualPrepare project basis of estimatePrepare estimate risk analysis and make cost contingency recommendationsAnalyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelinesActively promote innovative ideas and solutionsWork quickly in a high-stress US Government project environment, multiple projectsOther duties as assignedExperience & QualificationsUndergraduate degree in applicable field of study is preferredTen years of work-related experienceTechnical knowledge of and for US Government construction projectsCurrent understanding of estimating techniques in engineering, procurement, fabrication, and constructionKnowledge of Cost Competitive Execution, Excel to Win, Business Risk Management Framework (BRMF) and Strategy to WinSeasoned expertise to ensure that all pertinent information is updated in relation to the present scope of workExcellent analytical and computer skillsKnowledge of lump-sum and cost reimbursable estimating, self-perform and construction management execution, internal cost systems, progressing systems, level 1 and 2 schedules, work breakdown structures and project status reportsA comprehensive understanding of the Purchase OrderMust be authorized to work in the United StatesAIM World Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
