- Manage full cycle accounts receivable process including client set up, invoicing and posting customer payments
- Prepare and process full cycle, multi state payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Multi-State payroll tax registrations and compliance
- Manage full cycle accounts payable process
- Review and process expense reports
- Company credit card management
- Generate financial statements and reports, provide weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports as requested
- Assist with budget preparations, and maintain ledgers
- Oversee monthly closing to verify all information is recorded correctly
- Conduct bookkeeping, purchasing, and accounting functions
- Adhoc projects as needed

- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or relevant progressive accounting experience
- General knowledge of payroll compliance
- 3 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting
- Extensive experience working with QuickBooks
- 3 years experience in multi-state payroll registration and payroll processing
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Experience with third-party payroll providers
- Adaptability, resourcefulness, and the ability to apply knowledge to varying business situations
- Possess a positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Experience with Concur
- This is a remote position open to candidates within the United States with occasional work travel for on-site collaborative meetings as needed.

SSC is always immersed in our culture. Our headquarters are in Royersford, PA and we enjoy working in a 150-year-old sustainable building right on the river This gives us the opportunity to be active participants in local efforts with stream clean-ups through Perkiomen Watershed.

We partner with A Lively Hope, a program that accepts donations for children of parents who are imprisoned and newly released community members. The full-time position as a Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting our finance department, multi-state payroll management and processing, conducting bookkeeping, purchasing, accounting, financial monthly closing, creating high level reporting, and clerical/administrative functions. In this role, you will work independently, be directed by executive leadership, and follow company policy.
