- Full-time employment, 75-hours biweekly
- Work hours vary between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Sunday to Saturday.
- Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

- One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or
- Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk;or
- One year of lead retail sales work.

- You must pass a background investigation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 supervises, manages and directs activities in state-owned Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. You supervise a shift and participate in a variety of sales activities including receiving shipments, stocking products, and providing excellent service to all customers in a clean and safe store environment. Throughout operations, you assign and inspect the work of Liquor Store employees and instruct employees in the proper application of policies and procedures. In addition, you assist general managers who are accountable for the entire store operation which includes sales, store maintenance, merchandise and cash accounting, maintenance of records, and all related functions.
