    Export Customer Service Support

    Job Description:

    The role of the Export Customer Service Support is to learn the end-to-end containerized logistics process for The Delong Co., Inc. and assist the rest of the logistics team in their day-to-day duties and responsibilities.

    FULL-TIME/ PART-TIME: Full- time

    Pay: $20.00/hour

    EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Hourly

    Location: Clinton, WI

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities of Export Customer Service Support:
    • Create export shipments using third party platform websites and customer service groups.
    • Process emails from steamship lines by forwarding to the appropriate team members and cross checking the documents for accuracies.
    • Accurately enter and edit data in our grain database.
    • Communicate any changes in the shipment schedule to the loading points and documentation teams.
    • Answer and field phone calls for the rest of the Logistics team.
    • Cover and cross train for other logistics team members when there is a surplus workload, or absences occur.
    • Run the logistics planning meeting once a quarter.
    Key Attributes of the Export Customer Service Support :
    • 1+ year in a customer service or public facing roll required
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite required
    • Basic Mathematics required
    • Proficient typing skills required
    • 1+ year in logistics supply chain preferred
    • Strong typing skills preferred
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to sit for long periods.
    • Ability to use multiple computer screens at the same time.
    • Other duties as assigned.
