Description

The Dominikus Savio Youth Welfare Center in Pfaffendorf, managed by the German Province of the Salesians of Don Bosco, offers a diverse range of services for disadvantaged children and adolescents with various problems. These include therapeutic residential groups, a special education support center for grades 1-9, a special education and therapeutic day care center, and a school preparation facility. The close cooperation between the on-site school and the residential and semi-residential services allows for a holistic support of the children and adolescents.

We are currently seeking pedagogical staff (m/f/d) for our residential area (therapeutic residential groups) at our location in Pfaffendorf, starting immediately.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting and motivating adolescents with learning, socialization, and integration deficits to help them pursue education or a career
Developing individual activation, participation, and integration programs with the goal of empowering each individual to lead a responsible and self-determined life
Participating in quality assurance measures

Your profile should include:

A completed pedagogical education, a degree in social work/education/therapeutic pedagogy, or a comparable qualification
