The Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst is responsible for the handling of complex New York Compensation claims, including but not limited to: lost-time, medical-only, pension, death, disputed, and catastrophe.
The Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst strives to identify risks, seek out claim incurred mitigation, subrogation, proper handling, and compliance for all claims.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a workers' compensation role (adjuster, examiner, analyst)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Selfmotivated and proactive in identifying problems and developing recommended solutions
- High degree of business acumen and ability to clearly communicate with all levels of management in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work independently as well as ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as directed.
- Occasional travel
