- Design and develop PLC programs for automation and controls systems.
- Configure and program SCADA systems for monitoring and supporting technology development.
- Develop HMIs to support R&D and process development functions.
- Collaborate with process development and design engineers to define system specifications.
- Implement control strategies to optimize production processes and equipment efficiency.
- Coordinate with external equipment vendors to align controls development strategy.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for deployed equipment.
- Participate in commissioning and start-up activities for new projects.
- Document control system designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Support SQL database systems for data storage and retrieval.
- Utilize Python (or other applicable software) for scripting, data analysis, and automation tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial controls and automation.
- Familiarity with industrial control networks and field devices.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols.
- Proficiency in SCADA software platforms (preferably Ignition).
- Familiarity with HMI development and interface design.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety protocols for industrial automation.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving with technical solutions.
- Experience engaging with vendors and utilizing remote technical support.
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Proficiency in Python programming for scripting and automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
