    Description
    Candidate should have a solid background in geotechnical engineering and/ or geotechnical consulting. Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in civil/ geotechnical engineering. A master's degree and a P.E. are preferred, but not required.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    Work with the Chief Engineer in evaluating, performing detailed analysis, and designing solutions for ground improvement, foundation/slab support, and earth retention projects.

    Geopier Rammed Aggregate Pier Elements, Micro piles, tie-backs, grouting, and earth retention design/analysis experience a plus.
    Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision in performing all phases of design/analysis (currently or after training). Candidate would be required to mutli-task by working on several projects in various stages of development.
    Assist in writing and preparing written reports and submittals that are presented to the client.
    Coordinating with project engineers to provide time-sensitive technical solutions to ongoing construction projects.
    Take initiative for career advancement through advanced academic studies, technical seminar attendance, and implementation of computer software for design/analysis.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CAPABILITIES

    Bachelors' degree in civil/geotechnical engineering with some structural engineering coursework. Masters degree and Professional License is preferred but not required.
    Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in related fields.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.
    Demonstrated organizational skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
    Proven track record in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities, including exceptional follow-through.
