- Participates in project strategy meetings within the discipline, develops design concepts and recommends systems, produces pricing and proposal presentation documents, and outlines specifications.
- Responsible for the production of well-organized, finished drawings of good appearance, accuracy, clarity, and correctness.
- Coordinates work with other disciplines. Performs interdisciplinary coordination checks to minimize deficiencies, errors, and omissions in drawings and specifications.
- Assists Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents and response to requests for information.
- Directs technical efforts of discipline interns, designers, technicians, and subordinate engineers assigned to the project.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months

Benham, a Haskell Company is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK or Tulsa, OK.
In this role, you will be responsible for the production of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective designs, drawings, and specifications. Professional Engineers must maintain license and sign/seal documents prepared under your supervision. Engineer Interns must be eligible for Professional Engineer licensure within 12 months.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
