    Description
    Design and Analysis Engineer


    The engineer will be responsible for performing analysis to ensure safe and appropriate electrical power loading for various systems on a multitude of air and space platforms recognized around the world.


    The engineer will also provide electrical system power expertise to design and modification efforts of products being developed throughout the program.

    This position is for an experienced Electrical Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise.

    This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop new solutions, to grow and mentor the next generation of engineers.


    In addition, this will guide the candidates' career towards the submittal of a candidacy for a position in the Technical Fellowship Program.


    Primary job responsibilities will include:


    Coordinate, test, and verify Electrical Power requirements with teammates, customers, and system architects through the development and sustainment of various systems.

    Review supplier and partner qualification data to ensure compliance to Program and FAA electrical power requirements

    Perform Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) on a multitude of platforms in accordance with MIL-E-7016 and MIL-STD-704


    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    Must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (STEM)
    Must have previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry
    Must have previous experience writing/verifying Electrical Power requirements
    Must have experience using power measurement test and measurement instrumentation (such as power supplies, power meters, and analyzers)
    Must be familiar with Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) concepts and MIL-E-7016
    Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time as required


    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    14 or more years' related work experience (Consultant Level)

    Bachelor's or a Master's/PhD degree in electrical engineering

    Active U.S. Security Clearance

    Experience in the design, analysis, integration and verification of Electrical Power generation, distribution and/or regulation systems
