    Circle Medical is a Y Combinator and Real Ventures-backed startup affiliated with UCSF, one of the top 10 US hospitals according to US News and World Report.

    We are reimagining primary care from the ground up, combining technology and artificial intelligence with some of the nation's best physicians to deliver a better experience that scales faster and more efficiently than ever before.

    We are seeking a full-time care coordinator to support our physicians and help our US-based patients navigate the complex healthcare system, as well as contribute to the growth of our company and product.

    This role will be based out of our beautiful and newly acquired office in the super hip Mile-End.
    Responsibilities


    • Serve as a primary touchpoint for patient communication across multiple channels: chat, email and phone
    • Advocate for patients and coordinate their care with external organizations such as insurance companies, pharmacies, and specialists
    • Think creatively to solve problems standing in the way of patient experience, care, or outcomes
    • Assist with billing and other insurance issues
    Requirements


    • English fluency; Excellent verbal and written skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
    • Ability and eagerness to adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
    • A digital native comfortable with technology and development
    • A passion for excellent customer service and problem-solving
    Nice to Have


    • Prior experience in a venture-backed healthcare or startup/technology setting
    • Prior experience in a hospitality/retail or customer service setting
    • Ambition to have a long term career in healthcare
    • Experience living in the US or using the US healthcare system
    Closing

    Hours: 9 am-5:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch or 12 pm-8:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch from our beautiful Mile-End office, plus one, 3-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday working from home.

    Compensation is based on experience $20-$25/hr CAD plus overtime, full benefits, and stock options.

    This is an entry-level position in a fast-growing venture-backed startup with significant opportunity for advancement for the right candidate, and it is also a great opportunity to work closely with physicians (MDs and DOs), physician assistants, and nurse practitioners and gain clinical exposure.

    Responsabilités


    • Être le principal point de contact avec nos patients à travers plusieurs plateformes dont le clavardage, courriel et téléphone.
    • Défendre les intérêts des patients et assurer les liaisons avec des tierces parties tels compagnies d'assurance, pharmacies et spécialistes.
    • Mettre en oeuvre sa créativité pour résoudre des problèmes qui nuisent à l'expérience ou à la qualité des soins médicaux.
    • Répondre à des questions de facturation.

    • Excellente maitrise de la langue anglaise orale et écrite.
    • Capacité de s'adapter et de travailler dans un environnement en constante évolution.
    • Être à l'aise avec la technologie.
    • Une passion pour l'excellence en matière de service à la clientèle et la résolution de problèmes.
    Atouts


    • Une expérience dans le domaine de la santé ou de la technologie.
    • Un Baccalauréat et désir de poursuivre une carrière dans le domaine de la santé.
    • Avoir vécu ou utilisé le système de santé aux États-Unis.
